About Me

Hey YO, I’m Tom, but most people call me “The Captain.” I was born in Maryland but now call Kingsport my home. By day, I work at Sam’s Club, where I’ve been a dedicated associate for 16 years.

When I’m not working, I love to explore the great outdoors. Some of my favorite hobbies include geocaching, hiking, and kayaking. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of discovering a hidden cache or summiting a mountain peak. I also love spending time with my wife Andrea and our daughter Aurelia, whether we’re exploring a waterfall or just hanging out at home.

I’ve always felt that life is an adventure, and I wanted to create a space where I could share my experiences with others. That’s why I started this website. Here, you’ll find stories, photos, and tips from my adventures in the great outdoors. I hope that my website will inspire you to get outside and explore.
